website timescale

The websites 2020viz has designed take, on average, about 6 weeks from initial conversation to go live. There are a number of factors that can affect the timescale.

Some clients require a lot of assistance in determining what the objectives for the website should be, others have it all worked out. Most clients are somewhere in the middle. Some customers have already prepared the main website artwork and images, while others require that to be produced, as part of the process.

Some clients have very limited time to spend on the project, or require the involvement of other stakeholders, which inevitably can lead to delays.

The website consultant has to establish early on what the position is and to adapt their approach to fit the customer. They must agree milestones with them that can be realistically met.

Of course the size and scale of the website is also a factor. Some smaller sites have reached fruition in only two weeks.

To discuss your website plans further, just contact Kevin Smith on 01908 315791.

If you prefer, send an email with your contact details and I will be very happy to telephone you, at a time that is convenient to you.

My preference is to gather a brief understanding of what your requirement are, discuss some general approaches and then, if I think I can help, suggest a face to face meeting.

At this consultation, I would attempt to gather enough information from you to prepare at least an outline proposal, as well as answer any question that you might have. All of this would be completed on a no obligation basis.

Sometimes, face to face meetings are not possible. I designed, developed and supported a client in the south of France for more than 10 years without ever meeting them.
